In observation of National Reading Day, today we celebrated Dr. Suess!

FIELD TRIP TO THE FIRE STATION!

Guest Speaker - Officer Chris

As part of our Unit on Community Helpers, Officer Chris visited Celebration Kidz Preschool and brought his motorcycle!
After he taught us all about his job and his role as a Community Helper, he took us down to see his motorcycle and he let us sit on it if we wanted! Then, he gave us all "Jr. Deputy" badges to wear and we watched him out the window as he drove away with his sirens on. It was a lot of fun! We hope to see him again next year! Thank you, Officer Chris!

Guest Speaker - Pastor Chris

During our Community Helper Unit, Pastor Chris visited to talk about his role as a Pastor. He took the kids down into his office where he explained why he is a Community Helper and what his job entails. We sang some songs with him and had a good time, the kids love when Pastor Chris visits!
